The Oil Map portrays the locations of oil fields, the oil pipelines and oil blocks in Sudan. It also shows the composition of the consortia.
With the map, ECOS aims to spread knowledge about the location of the oil industry and the identity of the oil companies in Sudan.
ECOS composed the Oil Map in July of 2007. It was done by the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands), Department of Geology. ECOS does not warrant its accuracy or suitability for any particular purpose.
